Welcome to Lani Hall, the intimate recital and theater space housed within the Schoenberg Music Building at UCLA. Formerly known as the Jan Popper Theater, the venue was renamed in December 2019 after a renovation funded by the Herb Alpert Foundation. Lani Hall continues to host student recitals, chamber music, and small performances presented by UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music. With its close-up acoustics and curated programs, Lani Hall offers a personal concert experience in the heart of Los Angeles.
