About Jeptha Creed Distillery

Welcome to Jeptha Creed Distillery, a family-owned destination just outside Louisville in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Since opening in 2016, we’ve grown into a welcoming spot for tours, tastings, and community events on a 64-acre farm dedicated to Bloody Butcher corn and craft spirits. With a visitor center, tasting room, cafe/bar, and an outdoor lawn and patio, Jeptha Creed offers a relaxed, first-come, first-served seating setup and plenty of space for groups to enjoy a true Kentucky distillery experience. Whether you’re planning a weekday tasting, a weekend event, or a special concert, we’ve got you covered with practical details and trusted partner recommendations nearby.

Pro tip: secure your seats early for tours (max 18 guests per tour) and arrive ready to enjoy the outdoor patio seating that accommodates up to 250 guests. If you’re driving, on-site general parking is available, with RV parking at the bottom of the lot. Transportation options include Lyft and Uber for easy rides to and from the distillery. For overnight stays, consider nearby hotels like Fairfield Inn & Suites Shelbyville (222 Gordon Lane) and Best Western Shelbyville Lodge (115 Isaac Shelby Dr). We’ve curated partner recommendations to help you book lodging and dining with confidence. Jeptha Creed is family-owned, continues to grow, and celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2026.
