The Kern Center is a versatile, multi-purpose athletics and wellness facility on the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) campus. With an Ice Arena seating 1,600 and a Basketball Arena seating 1,200, the complex offers a combined 2,800 seats for a range of events—from RS Raiders athletic contests to pre-season hockey, fitness expos, youth camps, and campus ceremonies. In October 2018, the Kern Center Arena was renamed Edgar Hotchkin Arena. Located at 1245 N Broadway St in downtown Milwaukee, the Kern Center is easily accessible by car, transit, and nearby hotels make for a convenient stay before or after events.
