Latham Stadium in Cedar Falls, IA is a historical football site that’s no longer in operation for games, while Furman’s Latham Stadium (now John T. and Gloria Latham Baseball Stadium) in Greenville, SC hosted Paladins baseball until 2020. Seating, Parking & Venue Information

  • Two venues share the Latham name in the U.S.: O. R. Latham Stadium (UNI, Cedar Falls, IA) and Latham Baseball Stadium (Furman University, Greenville, SC).
  • O. R. Latham Stadium opened in 1936 and had a total capacity of 8,000 (6,000 permanent plus 2,000 temporary); the West/East sections were demolished in 1976 and 1987, respectively, and the site is now defunct as a football stadium.
  • Parking at UNI historically included about 500 additional spaces after a land purchase near the stadium in the 1940s.
  • Latham Baseball Stadium at Furman is located at 1612 Duncan Chapel Road, Greenville, SC 29613 and seats 2,000; it was renamed John T. and Gloria Latham Baseball Stadium in 2008.
  • Furman’s baseball program played at Latham Stadium until 2020 when the program was discontinued.
