The Lubbock Municipal Coliseum, a historic multi-purpose arena once located at 2720 Drive of Champions in Lubbock, TX, was a staple of the city’s entertainment and rodeo scene. With a seating capacity of 8,344, it hosted decades of ABC Pro Rodeo events and major rock acts in the 1980s and 1990s, including Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Ozzy Osbourne, and Billy Idol. Though demolished in 2019 after the land was returned to Texas Tech University, its legacy continues in the nearby Buddy Holly Hall.
