About Lyon Center

The Lyon Center is USC’s on-campus recreation hub, featuring a multi-purpose main gym that accommodates up to 1,500 attendees. While the public seating chart isn’t published, the Main Gym can host three full courts with bleacher seating, and those courts can be merged into a single large court as needed. This venue primarily serves recreation and intramural activities, with historical ties to USC Trojans volleyball before the move to Galen Center in 2007. If you’re looking to attend a USC-focused athletic or recreational event, Lyon Center offers a convenient, city-center location with easy access to parking, transit, and nearby hospitality options.
