About Mccormick Field
McCormick Field, commonly referred to as McCormick Field and historically Lewis McCormick Field, is a storied baseball stadium in the heart of downtown Asheville. Since 1924, it has hosted the Asheville Tourists (South Atlantic League) and serves as a venue for UNC Asheville Bulldogs baseball. With a seating capacity of about 4,000, fans experience close, intimate views around the infield and out into the surrounding Asheville landscape. SeatGeek offers interactive seating maps to help you secure your seats with ease.
Whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, McCormick Field is more than a game day destination—it's a piece of Asheville’s sports heritage, blending family-friendly fun with the city’s vibrant downtown energy.
Getting to the ballpark is straightforward. Street parking lines the area around the stadium, with a small adjoining lot available. For the 2025 season, a shuttle service operated from the Ironwood Parking Garage to McCormick Field, and the Gray Line Trolley South Slope Shuttle provided convenient transportation from Ironwood Garage during home games.
