McGlohon Theatre is a historic church-turned-performance venue in the heart of downtown Charlotte. With approximately 720 seats, the intimate space offers an engaging experience with orchestra and balcony levels, making it ideal for both renowned artists and emerging talents. The venue, formerly known as NationsBank Performance Place and Loonis McGlohon Theatre, continues to host a diverse calendar of performing arts, music, comedy, and community events.

Whether you’re planning a night of music, theater, or spoken word, you’ll find the atmosphere welcoming and the seating configuration thoughtfully arranged to put the performance center stage.

Located at 345 North College Street, McGlohon Theatre is closely connected to Charlotte’s vibrant arts district, with convenient access to transit and a selection of nearby lodging and dining options. We’ve got you covered for a smooth, no-fuss ticket experience.

Things to know for your visit: Parking is available in the 7th Street Station Garage at a the best available price designated rate after 5pm (cash exit pass required). The closest light-rail stop is 7th Street Station, offering easy access from surrounding neighborhoods. When you arrive, check the seating chart from Blumenthal Arts or third-party providers to select your preferred seat. After the show, explore nearby hotels like The Dunhill Hotel, The Ivey’s Hotel, Omni Charlotte Hotel, Charlotte Marriott City Center, Hyatt House Charlotte Downtown, and Westin Charlotte, all within a short distance of the venue.
