About Mercyhurst Athletic Complex
The Mercyhurst Athletic Complex (MAC) is a versatile on-campus arena at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Since the grand reopening on September 17, 2021, the venue has featured improved seating, including chairback seats, and a renamed playing surface: Owen J. McCormick Court. The MAC hosts basketball, volleyball, and wrestling with a modernized layout after renovations that rotated the court 90 degrees and removed the stage. The arena provides an intimate seating capacity of 1,100, offering clear sightlines and a dedicated home for Lakers athletics in a compact, energetic setting.
