The News Journal Center is Daytona Beach’s premier multi-venue performing arts hub owned by Daytona State College. Featuring two intimate theaters, the Davidson Theater and Gillespy Theater, plus a Grand Lobby for pre-show gatherings, the center hosts college productions, visiting artists, and community events. Formerly known as the Lively Arts Center, the venue underwent a naming-rights refresh with the News-Journal Corporation, but remains a welcoming home for performing arts in the heart of Daytona Beach.
