Welcome to NFL Experience Times Square, a four-floor, 40,000 square foot space once home to immersive NFL exhibits, multimedia displays, locker-room experiences, and a 4D theater. Located at 20 Times Square (corner of West 47th St and 7th Ave), this venue offered engaging experiences for fans and large-scale events before its transformation. Seating, Parking & Venue Information
- Location and size: NFL Experience Times Square occupied a 40,000 sq ft, four-floor space at 20 Times Square (corner of West 47th St and 7th Ave).
- Opening and closing: Opened December 1, 2017; closed September 30, 2018.
- Seating and capacity: The venue included a 188-seat 4D theater; event capacity could be up to 250 seated or 800 for receptions (full-venue buyouts available).
- Notable features: Interactive NFL exhibits, multimedia displays, locker-room and field experiences, and a 4D theater.
- Redevelopment: The space was repurposed as The Times Square EDITION hotel (701 Seventh Ave), with previews opened February 19, 2019 and official launch March 12, 2019.
- Nearby hotel and transit context: The TIMES SQUARE EDITION is the on-site hotel in the same building; Times Square offers extensive transit (subway) options and numerous parking garages around the district.
- Notable events hosted: Opening press/launch in December 2017; NFL Network’s Good Morning Football briefly moved to the NFL Experience studio in Times Square in 2018; the Edition hotel later hosted high-profile openings and cabaret-oriented entertainment in its Paradise Club.
