Welcome to Nicola Valley Rodeo Grounds, the heart of Merritt’s rodeo and community events. This outdoor venue features a large event arena and a separate warm-up arena, with covered stands that accommodate up to 2,500 spectators. Whether you’re here for the annual Nicola Valley Pro Rodeo over Labour Day weekend, a Professional Bull Riding (PBR) event, RCMP Musical Ride, high school rodeos, or other community happenings, you’ll find a straightforward, dependable experience. Parking and on-site camping are available, including 23 RV power posts and space for campers and horse trailers. For getting around town, a free Merritt Transit rodeo shuttle operates August 30–31, 2025, from the Civic Centre Parking Lot, with transit passes available at multiple local outlets.
