Located at Empire Expo Center, 581 State Fair Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13209, this 375‑acre fairgrounds complex hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the iconic Great New York State Fair. Whether you’re attending a free Chevy Court concert, a large indoor show at the Exposition Center, or a specialty event at the Empire Theater, we’ve got you covered with practical details to help you plan a smooth visit.

Note: The original Grandstand was demolished in 2015 as part of a major transformation of the fairgrounds. Today, the venue hosts dynamic, family-friendly events across multiple venues, with ample parking and accessible transit options. The Great New York State Fair draws well over a million visitors each year, making it a premier regional destination in central New York.

For the best experience, consider secure parking in designated lots (Orange, Brown, Pink, Gray, Willis Ave) and utilize the Centro Park‑N‑Ride shuttle during the Fair. Inside the grounds, tram service and ADA shuttle options help guests move between venues efficiently.
