Seating, Parking & Venue Information

  • Venue: Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center on The Ohio State University campus, located at 555 Borror Drive, Columbus, OH 43210.
  • Capacity: 19,700 for basketball, 17,500 for hockey, and 18,000–20,000 for concerts; the lower bowl can be configured for 3,000–7,000 for smaller shows via curtaining and floor configurations.
  • Seating chart: Floor Level (GA/concert floor), Entry Level (100 level), Club Level (200 level), and Terrace Level (300 level) with various premium and accessible seating options.
  • Parking: over 10,000 surface/garage parking spaces within a short walk; parking is cashless and may vary by event; there are mapped parking options near Lane Ave/St. John Arena and Ohio Stadium.
  • Transit: OSU campus access via COTA buses (BuckID on COTA is accepted); free on‑campus transit via CABS for students; additional transit options include campus shuttles and nearby city bus routes.
  • Nearby hotels: The Blackwell Inn (on‑campus), Marriott Columbus OSU, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbus OSU‑Medical Center, Staybridge Suites Columbus OSU‑Medical Center, Residence Inn Columbus OSU.
  • Notable events hosted: PBR Columbus Invitational held at Schottenstein Center (2019; and 2018 editions noted in event calendars), and the 2005 NCAA Frozen Four men’s hockey championship hosted at Value City Arena; OSU‑associated concerts and NCAA events are common.
