About Porto Turistico - Livorno
Porto Turistico - Livorno is the planned, modern marina development at Porta a Mare, spanning Darsena Nuova, Bacino Piccolo and Porto Mediceo. With 815 berths planned and a phased opening beginning in 2024, the first ~150 berths are expected Jan–Feb 2026 and full completion by mid-2026. The site brings new event spaces via the adjacent Maritime Station’s Congress Hall and strengthens Livorno’s status as a maritime hub.
Whether you’re visiting for a show, a conference, or a day by the water, we’ve got you covered with practical details on seating and venue spaces, parking options, transit connections, and nearby hotels and restaurants to help you secure your plans with ease.
Parking at Porto Turistico - Livorno includes two main car parks near the cruise terminal: Cruise Terminal Parking and Intercontainer Parking, each with approximately 150 spaces. Both offer 24/7 access via the Donegani gate. Planned shuttle service will connect cruise ships to downtown, with existing bus routes from Livorno Centrale to the port area. For stays around events, consider nearby Livorno hotels and preferred local dining options; we’ve highlighted affiliate partner recommendations to help you book confidently. If you’re attending a conference at the Maritime Station’s Congress Hall or a show at the adjacent facilities, we recommend securing your parking and accommodations early to ensure a smooth visit.
