About Red McEwen Field
Red McEwen Field sits on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa, Florida. Originally opening in 1967 as USF Baseball Field and later renamed in 1977, the site evolved into the USF Baseball Stadium at Red McEwen Field, hosting Bulls baseball and other regional events until the 2010 demolition. The current USF Baseball Stadium at Red McEwen Field opened in 2011 and houses a modern facility with a larger capacity, while the historic field remains a key part of USF’s baseball legacy. Whether you’re catching a Bulls game or visiting campus, we’ve got you covered with parking, transit, and nearby accommodation and dining options to make your trip straightforward and stress-free.
Parking is free in three lots surrounding the field two hours before first pitch. For transit, you can use the USF Bull Runner campus shuttle or local bus connections via USF and Greater Tampa transit networks. If you’re traveling from out of town, consider nearby hotels such as La Quinta Inn & Suites across Fowler Avenue, Embassy Suites Tampa USF/Near Busch Gardens, and Holiday Inn Express Tampa North/USF-Busch Gardens, all within easy reach of USF Pride Park and the USF Baseball Stadium at Red McEwen Field.
