  • Richardson Field opened in 1923 on Davidson College’s campus and was later renamed Richardson Stadium after renovations; the old site is listed as 201 Faculty Drive, Davidson, NC 28036.
  • Permanent seating at Richardson Stadium was reduced to 4,741 in the 1990s renovations (1991 overhaul); the stadium is a multi-purpose facility that also houses Smith Field and Belk Track.
  • Richardson Stadium hosted the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship in 1992, 1993, and 1994, with the 1994 event drawing a two-day attendance of 23,818.
