About Shuford Arena At Lenoir-Rhyne University

Shuford Arena, officially known as the Shuford Memorial Arena since its renaming in 2021, is the on-campus home for LR Bears men’s and women’s basketball as well as volleyball. With a capacity of 2,300, the arena features bleacher seating with modern great seats backs added in 2022 and the floor named John Lentz Court (2020). Located at 625 7th Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601, Shuford Arena serves as a central hub for LR athletics and community events.

Parking is available in Lot F behind Shuford Arena, with additional LR visitor parking lots noted on the university map.
