Southside Turners, originally built in 1900 by Vonnegut & Bohn as the South Side Turnverein Hall, is a cornerstone of Indianapolis history. While the building now serves as the headquarters for Point Comfort Underwriters and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), its story spans more than a century of community events, athletic contests, and political milestones. Located at 306 Prospect St in the Bates-Hendricks neighborhood just south of downtown, this site represents a blend of historic charm and enduring urban significance.
