Southwick Zoo, located at 2 Southwick Street in Mendon, MA, is New England’s largest privately owned zoo and adventure park. Spanning roughly 200 acres, it features a wide array of animals—over 850—and engaging rides and shows, plus on-site dining options. The zoo draws hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and offers multiple event spaces for private functions.
While Southwick Zoo typically operates April through October, please note that the 2025 season is currently closed with a planned mid-April 2026 reopening. We’re keeping an eye on updates so you can secure tickets and plan visits with confidence.
