Telus Convention Centre (TCC) anchors Calgary’s downtown conference and events scene with two connected buildings—the North Building at 136 8th Ave SE and the South Building at 120 9 Ave SE. With a combined 122,000 square feet of meeting space, TCC offers versatile spaces for conferences, exhibitions, banquets, and performances. The venue’s largest room spans 47,047 square feet, with theatre seating for up to 4,000 and banquet capacity for 3,600. Smaller rooms (Telus 101–107) provide flexible configurations ranging from roughly 27 to 86 seats, making TCC suitable for everything from breakout sessions to intimate gatherings. Since opening in 1974 as the Calgary Convention Centre, and later becoming Calgary TELUS Convention Centre in 1996, the venue has hosted marquee events including the World Petroleum Congress in 2000.
