The Texas Union Ballroom is a premier event space inside the Texas Union complex at the University of Texas at Austin. Formerly known as the Shirley Bird Perry Ballroom, the space was renamed in 2013 and continues to host a wide range of events—from lectures to dining gatherings and special programs. With a capacity of up to 1,000 for lectures and 600 for dining, this versatile ballroom sits at the heart of the UT campus, offering convenient access, dependable services, and a classic Austin setting.
