Welcome to The Back Room in Berkeley, a cozy listening-space renowned for intimate acoustic performances. With a capacity of around 75–100, this venue emphasizes a close-up, attentive listening experience. The Back Room has hosted a wide range of artists since its Grand Opening on April 16, 2016, including Laurie Lewis & Friends and, more recently, Macy Blackman & the Mighty Fines in February 2026. Managed by owner Sam Rudin, the venue continues to be a respected hub for live, unplugged-style shows in the Bay Area.
