About The Baroque Room

Located on the second floor of the Northwestern Building at 275 East 4th Street in Saint Paul, The Baroque Room offers an intimate, recital-style space perfect for close-up performances by small ensembles. Since opening in 2011, this venue has hosted a variety of early music programs and serves as a teaching and recording space for artists in residence. While the Baroque Room itself operates within the Lyra community, it continues to host notable events and serves as a flexible performance area for early music and chamber ensembles.

Note: The Baroque Room is now part of Early Music Minnesota activities, with many concerts held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The Saint Paul space remains available for use and showcases intimate performances by ensembles affiliated with the early music community.
