The Brudenell Social Club is a community-driven music venue in the Hyde Park/Headingley area of Leeds. Known as a place where small shows become memorable moments, it operates as a not-for-profit venue with a focus on live music and a welcoming social club atmosphere. The venue encompasses two performance spaces—the Main Room with a 400-capacity and the Community Room, added in 2017, also seating up to 400—offering flexible, mostly standing arrangements for general admission gigs. The Brudenell has hosted notable secret gigs from bands like Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs, as well as Cribsmas shows from The Cribs, and celebrated a 100th anniversary in 2013. In 2021, the venue reopened after COVID closures and continues to be a cornerstone of Leeds’ independent music scene.
