The Bullpen is an outdoor live-music and event space operated by Georgetown Events in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood of Washington, DC, adjacent to Nationals Park. Since opening in 2009 and briefly renamed Half Street Fairgrounds around 2012, it has re-emerged for its 17th season in 2025 as a versatile venue for Nationals pre-/post-game gatherings, outdoor concerts, and private events. The space blends flexible configurations with unique private areas like Half Dugout, Full Dugout, Half Roof Deck, and Full Roof Deck, all designed to suit various event needs without a fixed seating chart.

Seating and capacity at a glance: The Bullpen doesn’t publish a fixed seating chart. Seating is flexible and determined by rental configuration. Private spaces include Half Dugout (approx. 50), Full Dugout (approx. 100), Half Roof Deck (approx. 100), and Full Roof Deck (approx. 200). The general main area can accommodate around 1,000 standing, with seated capacity up to 200 in suitable setups. The entire venue can host up to about 4,000 for private events, making it a versatile option for a range of gatherings.

Parking and transportation: There is no dedicated on-site parking. Plan for on-street parking or nearby garage options. The nearest Metro is Navy Yard–Ballpark (Green Line). Note that Half Street may be closed to vehicle traffic on Nationals game days, so plan your route accordingly.
