About The Level

Welcome to The Level, a versatile venue complex in the heart of Nottingham. Comprising three spaces — The Level (main), The Landing (balcony/bar), and The Loft (intimate space) — this venue hosts a wide range of events from concerts to intimate showcases. Whether you’re planning a gig, a conference, or a social gathering, we’ve got you covered with seating configurations, parking tips, easy transit, and nearby accommodation and dining options to simplify your night out.

Address: Shakespeare Street, Nottingham NG1 4GH. The Level is conveniently located near city-center amenities, making it easy to arrive by tram, park nearby, and stroll to nearby hotels and eateries after the show.

Seating at The Level is flexible, with capacities published per space: The Level offers 1,200 standing, 300–450 theatre seating, and 170 banquet options. The Landing adds 600 standing and 150 seated (and, when combined with The Level, can accommodate up to 2,300 across spaces). The Loft provides 350 standing and 120 seated for more intimate performances. While there isn’t a public PDF seating chart, the capacities are clearly defined for each space on the official site to help you plan your visit.

Parking isn’t available on-site, but several convenient options sit within a short walk. Victoria Centre and Trinity Square car parks are popular choices, with street parking in the area subject to time-of-day regulations. For greener travel, the venue sits near the Nottingham Trent tram stop and is in a central city location with NET park-and-ride options available.

To make your experience even smoother, we’ve highlighted nearby hotels and dining options, including trusted partners and easy links to reserve directly. For the latest event listings like The Academic (Feb 2026), Holly Humberstone intimate performance (Mar 2026), Gerry Cinnamon Experience (Apr 2026), and Bruce Foxton & His All-Star Band (Apr 2026), secure your seats early through your trusted connection with us.
