About The Stage At Island Park
The Stage at Island Park has a storied place in Fargo’s live-entertainment history. Originally a community theatre stage with a thrust design, it stood at 333 4th St S, Fargo, ND 58103 (FMCT indoor venue) and offered intimate indoor seating complemented by outdoor hillside areas. Although the indoor Stage at Island Park was demolished starting in November 2022, the legacy continues with FMCT’s move to the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead in 2021 and a planned new theatre in Downtown Fargo at NP Avenue. The Avery, located at 600 NP Ave in Fargo, is projected to become FMCT’s new home, with an estimated 420 seats across seven rows plus classrooms and supporting spaces.
