About Thunder In The Valley Motorcycle Rally
Welcome to the Thunder In The Valley Motorcycle Rally venue page. While the rally has historical roots in downtown Johnstown, today the core festival experience revolves around Suppes Ford Biker Mall at Main/Union Streets and the nearby Peoples Natural Gas Park (PNG Park) at 90 Johns Street. The rally is a large, multi-day event featuring live music on multiple stages, bike shows, parades, a bustling vendor village, and various rides and demonstrations. This guide covers seating and viewing options, parking, transportation, and nearby hotel and dining recommendations to help you plan a smooth, stress-free visit. We’ve got you covered with practical details and trusted partner recommendations to secure your tickets and make the most of your trip.
Note: The Thunder In The Valley brand has evolved from earlier Visit Johnstown events. In 2024, Rumble Through The Valley launched in the Johnstown area, with PNG Park serving as the 2025 festival site in Johnstown and a move to Ebensburg for 2026. For the Johnstown venue experience, PNG Park remains a central hub with indoor and outdoor spaces, plus wide lawn areas for general admission. We’ll help you navigate parking along Iron Street and Walnut Street, access via Johns Street/Walnut Street bridges, and nearby hotel options, including Downtown Johnstown properties like Holiday Inn Downtown Johnstown and Red Roof Inn, plus additional choices a short drive away. Secure your seats and plan ahead with reliable, non-pushy guidance from your trusted connection in the ticket world.
