About Timber Lake Playhouse
Timber Lake Playhouse is a professional, not-for-profit summer stock theatre nestled in the woods of Mt. Carroll, Illinois. Known as "Your Theater In the Woods," TLP offers a semi-thrust revolving stage and a charming, intimate atmosphere with comfortable sightlines from every seat. Since 1975, after the original wooden facility burned in 1974, the venue has continued to bring Equity-tier productions to the region and welcomes audiences for a season of premieres and revivals.
