Welcome to the Timonium Fairgrounds, a multi-building venue complex in Lutherville-Timonium that hosts fairs, trade shows, concerts and meetings throughout the year. With spaces including the Cow Palace, Exhibition Hall, Sales Pavilion, 4H/Home Arts Building, Grandstand, and Harvest Hall (the year-round event space opened in 2026 after renovations), this venue offers flexible setups for everything from large expos to intimate gatherings. - Address: 2200 York Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093 (Timonium area).
- Venue type: Multi-building fairgrounds complex home to a variety of facilities for fairs, trade shows, concerts and meetings (Cow Palace, Exhibition Hall, Sales Pavilion, 4H/Home Arts Building, Grandstand, Harvest Hall).
- Seating/chart options: Exhibition Hall capacity 1,896; Sales Pavilion capacity 470; 4H/Home Arts Building capacity 1,800; Grandstand provides open-air seating with an estimated 150–200 capacity for events and a separate dining area seating 350–400; Cow Palace is a large flexible space (158,400 sq ft total) used for shows and events.
- Parking: On-site paid parking during the State Fair ($15). Free Park & Ride on Greenspring Drive and Kaiser garage parking with access to the fair via Light Rail gates.
- Transit: MTA Light Rail has a Fairgrounds stop nearby; No. 93 bus serves the Timonium Park & Ride/Light Rail Stop.
- Nearby hotels: Partner hotels include Embassy Suites Baltimore North – Hunt Valley; Holiday Inn Timonium; Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore North/Timonium; Residence Inn Hunt Valley; Holiday Inn Express Hunt Valley.
- Notable events hosted: Maryland State Fair (annual), auto shows, boat shows, craft/fair events, Renaissance garb and craft shows, beer/bourbon/BBQ festivals, and other expositions at the Cow Palace and Exhibition/Hall spaces.
- Renovations/renaming: Farm & Garden Building was demolished in 2025 to make way for Harvest Hall, a new year-round event space opened in 2026 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds.
