Seating and layouts: Shaw House on Ward’s Island offers indoor capacity for up to 30 and outdoor capacity for up to 100 (summer). Algonquin Island Association Clubhouse seats up to 130. For larger gatherings, Centre Island venues like Centre Island Catering can support private events across Centre Island spaces, including private picnics, weddings, and corporate functions. Note: Ward’s Island Association (WIA) Clubhouse is seasonal and bookings were suspended following a fire in March 2024. Always confirm current status before planning.

Access and transport: Primary access is via ferry from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal to Centre Island and Ward’s Island. The City of Toronto publishes seasonal ferry schedules for Centre Island and Ward’s Point. TTC streetcars 509 and 510 connect to Union Station, with final leg via ferry. Parking options exist in nearby areas within a short walk from the terminal (Lakeshore & Bay; Queens Quay area).
