About Toronto Island Park
Toronto Island Park offers a scenic escape in the heart of Toronto, with venues on Ward's Island and Centre Island and seasonal attractions on Centre Island. Access is via the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, located at 9 Queens Quay W. Note that there is no on-site parking at the ferry terminal; off-site mainland parking options are available nearby. Whether you're planning a private gathering, a community event, or a cultural outing, we'veGotYou covered with practical details and trusted partner recommendations to make your island visit smooth and enjoyable.
For venues on Ward's Island, Shaw House offers intimate indoor space for about 30 guests and inviting outdoor capacity around 100 in warmer months. Ward's Island Association venues experienced a fire in March 2024 and are not currently booking events, so please plan accordingly. Centre Island hosts the seasonal Centreville Amusement Park (typically May–Sept), but as of 2026 the park remains closed until spring 2026. If you’re visiting, consider nearby hotel options like the Westin Harbour Castle, just behind the ferry terminal, and explore affiliate recommendations for comfortable stays and convenient dining. When booking, we’ll help you secure your seats and confirm access details for your chosen date.
Travel tip: use the ferry service from Jack Layton Ferry Terminal to reach Centre and Ward’s Islands. Public transit options and ride-share services are readily available on the mainland, with off-site parking facilities nearby. Always verify current operating status for venues and attractions prior to your trip.
