About Tsai Performance Center
The Tsai Performance Center is a premier Boston University venue located at 685 Commonwealth Avenue, within the College of Arts & Sciences. With a fixed seating capacity of 515, it hosts a mix of BU ensembles—like the BU Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble—and performances by local arts organizations, including the New England Philharmonic. Built in 1989 as part of BU's redevelopment (renamed and renovated from Hayden Hall), this intimate space offers excellent acoustics and flexible seating configurations for select events.
