About UConn Volleyball Center

The UConn Volleyball Center (UVC) is the dedicated on-campus home for Husky volleyball, located at 509 Jim Calhoun Way, Storrs, CT 06269 inside the former Freitas Forum building. Opened after a renovation and renaming from Freitas Forum to UVC during 2023–2024, the venue now hosts Huskies matches on one competition court with chairback seating and three additional practice courts. While the main match court has public seating in a chairback configuration, detailed public seating charts are not broadly published. Important notes: UConn does not publish an official capacity for the UVC. The first sell-out occurred on September 14, 2024 against UAlbany. If you’re a student or faculty member, check eligibility for the U-Pass program for transit. For visitors, CTtransit and Windham Region Transit District offer routes to Storrs and Mansfield Center, with the Nash-Zimmer Transportation Center acting as a regional hub for connections.
