Welcome to the Valdosta Student Union at VSU, a large, multi-space facility opened in January 2010 to replace the original 1966 University Union. With more than 113,000 square feet dedicated to meetings, events, dining, and student services, the Union serves as a central hub for campus life in Valdosta, GA. The Valdosta Student Union features a dedicated Union Theater with 305 seats and Dolby surround sound, plus a 10x17 foot screen for screenings or performances. For larger events, the Ballroom spaces offer flexible configurations: individual ballrooms support up to 96 (Banquet) or 150 (Auditorium) per room; combined spaces can accommodate up to 800 attendees with Auditorium setups. Conference and meeting rooms (R1–R2, Heritage Room, Meeting Rooms 1–4) provide intimate settings from roughly 25 to 100 people depending on layout. On-site parking includes a pay-by-plate lot across Baytree Road and access to the Oak Street Parking Deck. Transit options include Valdosta On-Demand via Via, with additional local transit choices.
