No weapons, including knives or guns, are allowed inside the Watseka Theatre complex. Gum, food, or beverages are not permitted inside the Watseka Theatre. All persons, purses, or other accessories will be searched prior to entrance onto the theatre premises, and attendees will go through a metal detector. The Watseka Theatre was originally designed by architect Louis Skidmore in the Art Deco style. The Watseka Theatre was previously known as the Iroquois Performing Arts Center. The Watseka Theatre was restored and reopened on New Year's Eve 2007. The Watseka Theatre has hosted various genres of performances, including country, southern rock, rock & roll, bluegrass, jazz, and blues since 2008. [4] [1]
