Welch Stadium, officially Francis G. Welch Stadium and commonly known as Welch Stadium, is a historic on-campus multi-use stadium at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Opened in 1937 and dedicated in 1960, the venue seats approximately 7,000 fans and hosts football and track events, including the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Shrine Bowl, and local high school athletics. The field area is known as Jones Field (Jones Field at Welch Stadium).
