This all-new production marks the 15th anniversary of Alberta Ballet’s Nutcracker series and features the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra delivering a lush, orchestrated score. Two afternoon and evening shows at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium give families and ballet lovers alike a chance to experience a timeless holiday favorite in a fresh, modern presentation.
Event highlights include lobby activities such as Story Time, a Photo Booth, the Alberta Ballet Boutique, and a Pointe Shoe Tree—perfect for making memories before or after the performance. The production unfolds as a traditional full ballet with Act I, Intermission, and Act II, running a total of about 2 hours and 2 minutes.
