About The Good War
Experience The Good War, a thoughtful adaptation of Studs Terkel’s classic work, brought to life by director Nanci Carol Ruby as part of Pepperdine University’s Center for the Arts season. Set in Malibu at Smothers Theatre, this production invites reflection on wartime experiences through intimate storytelling and powerful performance. The November 2025 run includes multiple performances, with special programming for veterans and audience members alike.
