About Nanaimo Concert Band
Join us for a memorable fall concert as the Nanaimo Concert Band takes the stage at The Port Theatre in downtown Nanaimo. This year’s program, It Was a Dark and Stormy Night, features Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre and selections from Schindler’s List, performed in two 45-minute sets with a 20-minute intermission. Violinist James Mark joins the band for a special collaboration that you won’t want to miss. This is a family-friendly event in a historic venue, perfect for a Sunday afternoon of rich orchestral storytelling.
