About Handel's Messiah
Join us for an annual Duke Chapel tradition: Handel's Messiah performed by an exceptional ensemble led by guest conductor David Rayl. This 2 hour 15 minute program showcases selections from Parts I–III, with intermission, featuring soprano Chea Kang, countertenor Key'mon Murrah, tenor Kay'mon Murrah, bass-baritone Edmund Milly, the Duke Chapel Choir, and Mallarmé Music. The concert is part of a long-standing Messiah season at Duke Chapel, a beloved Durham cultural highlight since 1933. Note: tickets are currently sold out, with an online broadcast planned by December 22, 2025.
