About ProMusica Chamber Orchestra: Saint-Saens & Schubert
Join ProMusica Chamber Orchestra for the opening weekend of their 47th season in Columbus. The program centers on dynamic contrasts, beginning with Gabriela Lena Frank's Elegía Andina, followed by Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2 with acclaimed pianist Terrence Wilson, and ending with Schubert's powerful Symphony No. 4, the “Tragic.” Conducted by David Danzmayr, this evening promises intimate musicianship and expressive storytelling at the Southern Theatre.
Two performances are scheduled: Tuesday, November 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST and Wednesday, November 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM EST. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with a runtime of approximately 2 hours including an intermission. After each concert, stay for a Coda: Post-Concert Conversation with the artists.
