About Marie and Rosetta
Marie and Rosetta brings a powerful two-hander to Soho Place, spotlighting the remarkable musical partnership of Marie Knight and Rosetta Tharpe. This UK premiere, following a successful run at the Rose Theatre (Kingston) and a touring circuit in 2025, heads to London for a limited engagement in early 2026. With Beverley Knight as Rosetta Tharpe and Ntombizodwa Ndlovu as Marie Knight, the production centers on the two lead performances backed by a dedicated live band. There are no separate opening acts; the show focuses on the chemistry between the two icons and their extraordinary music.
Performance runs Monday through Saturday at 7:30pm, with matinees at 2:30pm on Thursdays and Saturdays. The April 11, 2026 matinee is a 2:30pm show.
