With a main room that seats around 1,200 and the adjacent Atlantis space with approximately 450 capacity, the venue offers standing room with limited balcony seating for most shows. Opened in 1980 after the original 930 F Street location, the 9:30 Club has a storied history and was recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the 10 best live venues in the US in 2018. The Atlantis opened next door in 2023, expanding the DC music scene even further.
