About Amsterdam Bar and Hall
Welcome to Amsterdam Bar and Hall, a dynamic music venue tucked in the heart of downtown Saint Paul at 6 West 6th St. This versatile space features two stages and a flexible performance layout that can accommodate a wide range of shows—from high-energy concerts to intimate sets. While the venue is primarily standing with limited built-in seating on a first-come basis, you’ll still find great sightlines and a lively atmosphere for most performances.
Whether you’re catching a headline tour or a special one-off show, you’ll want to secure your seats or entry early. We’ve got you covered with current event details, venue information, and trusted recommendations for nearby parking, transit options, and convenient hotel and dining partners to make your night seamless from start to finish.
Amsterdam Bar and Hall sits at the intersection of 6th St and Wabasha St, offering direct Metro Transit access with multiple bus routes stopping just outside. Street parking is available, and nearby ramps like Lawson Ramp, Victory Ramp, Impark Lot, and Treasure Island Ramp provide additional options (note: Lawson Ramp validation is no longer provided by Amsterdam). For travelers, the area is surrounded by a range of Downtown Saint Paul hotels, from classic downtown properties to modern stays, plus a variety of dining choices to suit any mood. If you’re planning a multi-event outing, keep in mind that each show operates as its own standalone experience. Remember to check the event page for specific venue setup and capacity details for that night’s performance. If you’re looking to stay nearby, consider our affiliate hotel partners for comfort and convenience, and explore nearby restaurants to fuel up before the show.
