The Dakota, formerly known as the Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant, is a premier downtown Minneapolis venue that blends intimate live jazz with a classic dining experience. Since 1988, it has hosted national jazz artists and remains a go-to spot for music lovers looking for quality performances in a welcoming setting. Relocated to downtown Minneapolis in 2003, The Dakota continues to celebrate jazz with regular shows, including a notable 40th anniversary block party on August 11, 2025.
