The venue

About Galen Center

The Galen Center is USC’s on-campus multipurpose arena, hosting USC Trojans basketball and volleyball along with concerts and a wide range of events. Located at 3400 S Figueroa St in Los Angeles, CA, this versatile venue offers multiple seating configurations, modern amenities, and convenient access for guests coming from across the city and beyond. Whether you’re cheering on the Trojans, catching a big-name concert, or attending a special event, we've got you covered with practical tips on seating, parking, transit, and nearby lodging and dining options.

Seating configurations vary by event. The arena accommodates thousands for basketball, concerts, and other performances, with exact seating layouts and entry details published on each event page. The Galen Center is a key centerpiece for Exposition Park and the USC campus, making it a convenient hub for visitors staying in nearby hotels or exploring nearby museums and attractions.

For a smooth experience, plan enough time for parking, especially on game days or high-demand concert nights. Parking structures around USC — including McCarthy Way, Figueroa Street, Royal Street, and the USC Shrine — generally open ahead of events. Public transit is a solid option: the Jefferson/USC stop on the nearby Jefferson/USC corridor provides convenient access. After the show, consider dining at nearby restaurants or relaxing at a hotel connected to the USC campus. If you’re looking for a comfortable base, The USC Hotel is directly adjacent to the Galen Center and Exposition Park at 3540 S Figueroa St. We’re here to help secure your seats and connect you with trusted hotel and dining partners for a seamless LA experience.
