About Gene Polisseni Center At Rochester Institute of Technology
The Gene Polisseni Center is a multi-purpose arena on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. Opened with a dedication on September 18, 2014, the venue primarily hosts RIT men's and women's hockey, with space also used for non-ice events and other campus activities. The arena offers a mix of reserved chair-back seating, general admission (student) seating, and a club seating area behind the team bench, including about 275 club seats. Whether you’re catching a hockey game, a concert, or a special event, we’ve got you covered with practical parking, transit options, and nearby stay-and-dine picks to help you plan your visit.
Parking is free and available in on-campus lots that open 90 minutes before events. Lot recommendations include D, E, F, R, S, and U, with handicap parking in Lot U. For public transit, RTS Route 24 serves the campus area, and campus maps plus shuttle options can help you navigate to the arena. If you’re traveling from out of town, nearby hotels in Henrietta and Rochester offer convenient stays, including the RIT Inn & Conference Center, Radisson Inn at RIT, Best Western, DoubleTree, and Extended Stay America. For tickets, secure your seats early through our easy, no-fuss process—like you’ve got a friend in the business. If an event is rescheduled, you’ll see RESCHEDULED from its original date noted on the page.
