About Gichi-Ziibi Center For The Arts

The Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts is Brainerd’s public performing arts hub, serving the Brainerd High School community and the wider region with student productions and touring acts. The main theatre accommodates up to 1,200 in a proscenium layout, with a flexible Studio Stage for intimate performances and rehearsals. Since its renaming in May 2021 ( signage completed by November 2025 ), the venue continues to bring a diverse slate of music, theatre, and cultural programming to central Minnesota.
